COMMUNION Communion with whom….what….how….when….why….? Humanity knows everything, again knows nothing. It has primitive and modern civilizations all the knowledge, and again is ignorant of all. All the knowledge, perfectly documented from palm leaves, bamboo stalk spreads and bhoj patras to transformed modern paper books, to read, write, learn, write exams, pass them forget them all… advertently? Or inadvertently…? How can this happen? Why is humanity so wise and again, simultaneously so ignorant? What deficiencies are there, inside and surrounding humanity? What causes this distortion? It is not known how many will accept it,…..but is it not lack of communion / rapport, with Universal Nature…..? Why an individual expresses his / her best wishes, feelings, love, goodwill, etc, to the fellow human being by handing over a bunch of flowers along with a few green leaves, even affixing a flower, while offering an artificial gift box, on top of it, why the most wonderful and powerful creature upon earth believes, that flowers and leaves were the must medium for worship / interaction with the Gods and Goddesses? Because it is the most pure medium. Even non-believers develop their relationship with fellow human beings by offering flowers and leaves, why? Because it is the primitive source of communion still alive in humankind In Amitav Bachchan’s KBC episodes, a young lady replied once that the cocoanut tree is a thorny tree, instead of the lemon tree, which was also an option among the given four. This makes one thoughtful, how alarmingly far young humanity has, in course of time, distanced itself from the proximity of Universal Nature. page - 42 Thus here is a repeated effort on my part, to make my fellow people aware, that whatever progress we may make, in whatever sphere, we simply couldn’t replace our communion with Universal Nature, the green living world. So therefore, before it is too late, before we are on the path of no-recovery, let us introspect, let us open our inside, aspire to re-establish and relink the lost procedure of communion & rapport with UNIVERSAL NATURE. Let us spend a little of our time, resources and surrounding space in our control to conserve and preserve the natural world, the world of WEEDS.
